Wow! Summer hits Åre hard, melting roads and happy paraglidingpilots. Chilled rosewine consumtion getting out of hand 
Åre is realy good when the weather is on. This last seven days have been almost perfect. Yesterday for example i did five tandems and two single flights. Four of the tandems with good thermals. In the evening I got a little soaring flight with an utterly stupid toplanding on my butt… Can be seen on the film linked below.

The film has been filmed on the 25, 26, 28 and 29th of june. Mainly in the afternoons and evenings. But it has been flyable all day long except sunday. And today has been abit unstable… Rain and clouds, followed by sunshine and warm, followed by dark clouds, and when me and Filip had landed it thunder’d… ;-/
So now i stay at home and grind some lovely coffeebeans and chill at my computer. Hopefully an eveningflight is on the menue…
Fishing has been an activity that’s been amusing for the pilots. Trout is was we get next to landing field. Åre is good. In more than one way…
Åre has been outstanding the last days. Flying conditions from mornings until late night.
So not much computertime. Too tired!

Yesterday day was xc time, though after 15 k i landed on the golfcourse, green number 15… Did not manage to get contact with a very good looking cloudstreet. Hmm
Jonna puts up with alot. Sunday evening and all. She drove me (because i had been drinking beer) to the Helsinki skatepark, sponsored by Element skateboards. She even took the pics of me in the pool…
It’s realy very nice. So much fun ostacles for todays inovative skaters. Epic place.
For oldschoolers like me it had a very cool snakerun ending in a pool. Great fun.
So i skated in Finland on Go skateboarding day 2009. 
After five days on a sailboat the world is still abit rocking… i feel very wierd. Always have but now it’s even worse 
I will make a nice gallery from me and Jonnas sailing trip in the FInnish archipelagio. Intresting journey…
However now we are back in Dalsvik and packing up for Sweden tomorrow. Hopefulley i will return to Åre on tuesday evening. And even more hopefully for an evening flight… 
Today, the 21th of june is Go skateboarding day all over the globe. Skaters all get out and skate. I managed to skate a little on the cliffs next to the ocean and scared Jonnas brothers new dog. my bad 
I hope to maybe have time for a trip in to Helsinkis famous skatepark, Metropolis later tonight.
Last week i skated a little nice park in Lojo. Good plan, sadly the end product was rough… 
Just some angles i liked during my visit to Rome and Norma, and yeah i have a passion for walls…

Well saturday was windy and i kept an eye on balises in the area. Trying to find a place i could fly. But it was a pleasant wait. Sunny and around 30 degrees celcius. Some well chilled rosewine and a nice breeze made me stay in the sun…
However i was not to give up thought of flying and i was to be revarded in the end.
Gourdon was perfect. What a finish to my short little holiday in alpes maritimes. Got there just in time for launching. We were three pilots and the conditions were on. Superlifty everywhere. I was smiling. Alot.

After and halfanhour my knees got cold. Flying in shorts after 18.00 was not a good idea. So i toplanded a couple of times and played around. Enough. I had to go to Bob Drury and help him pack a lorry full with his stuff since he is moving to the Chamonix valley. 
After hard work we had some food and then called it a day. I went back to Greolieres and packed up to leave for Sweden next day.
Bob drove me to the Nice airport and i landed safely in Trondheim three hours later. When walking out of the airplane i noticed that the locals were flying over at Forbordfjellet. Sweet. 
It was a great week of flying and having fun with my friends in Greolieres and the surroundings.
